Cannibal Flesh Riot! (2006) |
||
In Grimly's debut, he manages to deliver a 1950s feel while using a very modern technique. The sets are cool. The characters have a comic book feel to them. Amazingly, his use of CGI isn't annoying and in many cases, you almost don't notice it. There is a very cool stop motion animation sequence which, although probably not necessary to tell the story, helps to achieve the vintage feel that makes the film so appealing. Basically, for a low-budget film Cannibal Flesh Riot is very easy to watch. |
